Emma’s accomplished so much this year (2024) alone as a trumpet player. She’s played at the Hollywood Bowl in “Barbie The Movie In Concert,” played as principle trumpet in a number of local orchestras, played as a soloist with the UCLA Symphony, and performed with the Colbern Orchestra, to name a few. Since she and I started dating, she won the position of principle trumpet for the American Youth Symphony (the first woman to hold the position in it’s history), she’s played in the Disney All-American College Band, was the Graduate Commencement Speaker for her Master’s Degree Graduation at UCLA, and so much more.

Hysteria! - on Peacock Now
Follows a struggling high school heavy metal band of outcasts who use the town's sudden interest in the occult to start a reputation as a Satanic metal band, until a strange series of events triggers a witch hunt that leads back to them.
This was my first project with Tyler Bates in which I wrote a chunk of the score. I’ve selected a few pieces and added them below.
I got “Additional Music” credits (although not credited on screen - it’s rare to be credited on TV shows).

For those who don’t know, Emma works as a Lab Technician at the Zamudio Lab at UCLA. This lab focuses on cancer research, specifically studying how cells sometimes become cancerous. If there are enough mutations or errors in a cell’s DNA sequence, it can either self-destruct or go into a state where it cannot reproduce. Sometimes cells that enter this state escape this “stasis” and start to replicate. This can lead to cancer and cancerous tumors in certain situations. Emma was invited to join select members of her team at the RNA Society’s conference in Glasgow, Scotland, where her team won an award for their research.
